Job Description

Our agency is a local DMC based in Bali, offering tailor-made trips throughout Indonesia. We are a large team (27 employees in total, including 6 German speakers), with European management and both European and Indonesian staff, working across different markets.

We design immersive, individual trips with a unique, slightly off-the-beaten-path touch. Employees mainly work on-site, with one day per week of remote work.

Preferred Experience

We are looking for an experienced and motivated German-speaking sales agent to join the team of our partner agency in Bali, Indonesia. You will handle traveler requests via the Evaneos platform and serve as the main point of contact for travelers from the German-speaking market.

With its network of over 1,000 partner local travel agencies in more than 160 destinations, Evaneos supports the recruitment of sales agents for its partners. Your Missions as a Local Sales Agent in Indonesia

Under the supervision of Laura Puddu, Sales Manager, and Alisha Esteves, Head of the German Market, you will be responsible for sales in the DACH market. Your main tasks will include:

🕵️ Advising travelers and building tailor-made trips

  • Communicating with travelers via the Evaneos platform

  • Understanding their expectations and specific travel needs

  • Offering personalized advice on destinations, culture, traditions, and local activities

🧳 Managing the practical aspects of each trip

  • Matching traveler needs with transportation, accommodations, insurance, and tours within their budget

  • Handling bookings for hotels and activities

  • Invoicing travelers

🌟 Ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the journey

  • Acting as the travelers' local point of contact during their trip

  • Monitoring quality and following up during the trip

  • Managing issues, complaints, cancellations, and refunds as needed

🤝 Start date: As soon as possible

💲 Salary: Fixed salary + commissions – 15M IDR + up to 3% margin

⏰ Working hours: 40 hours per week

👤 Profile

✅ Key Skills

  • You are a native German speaker or have excellent command of the language

  • You have proven experience in sales or tourism

  • You are already living in Bali or are willing to relocate (help provided if needed to obtain a visa)

  • You are customer-oriented and enjoy creating great experiences
