Descriptif du poste

We are looking for an experienced and motivated french Sales Agent to join our partner agency’s team in Tanzania.

You will manage travelers’ requests via the Evaneos platform and act as the main contact for travelers from the French and Italian markets.

With its network of over 1,000 partner local travel agencies in more than 160 destinations, Evaneos participates in the recruitment of sales agents for its partner agencies.

Profil recherché

Your missions as a Sales Agent in Tanzania

Reporting to Solène Perbost, you will be responsible for the French and Italian markets.

Your main missions will include:

✈️ Advising customers and tailoring trips

  • Getting in touch with travelers through the Evaneos platform

  • Understanding travelers’ expectations and specific needs

  • Providing travelers with guidance regarding destinations, cultures, traditions, and activities

🧳 Managing the practical aspects of the trip

  • Matching travelers' requirements with transportation, accommodation, insurance, tours, and activities according to their budget

  • Handling booking management for hotels and activities

  • Billing the travelers

🌟 Ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the trip

  • Being the local point of contact for travelers throughout their trip

  • Performing quality monitoring during the trip

  • Handling travel issues, conflicts, complaints, cancellations, and refunds

Profile

✅ Core Skills

  • Native French speaker and proficient in English

  • Excellent knowledge of Tanzania, its culture, traditions, and points of interest

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in tourism and previous sales experience

  • Already living in Tanzania

  • Comfortable with the Tanzanian lifestyle and local culture

  • Adaptable and not afraid of the unexpected

  • Enjoy problem-solving

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Additional Information

📅 Contract type: Local contract – minimum 2 years

📍 Location: Moshi, Kilimanjaro, Tanzania

🤝 Availability: {To be confirmed}

💰 Salary: Negotiable

🕓 Working hours: Monday–Friday (8am–5pm) & Saturday from home (8am–1pm)

💻 Flexible work: One additional full day working from home allowed (Monday–Friday)
