Job Description

The Account Development Manager is responsible for the development and revenue potential of a community of travel agents in a given geographical area on the northern Europe markets.

Your role:

Market & Portfolio ownership

  • Follow your market in terms of demand (travellers' demand).

  • Identifying needs of new partners and market needs’ changes. Make sure these needs are met

  • Identifying and selecting new travel agencies that meet our strict selection criteria, together with the Sourcing Manager

Account Management

  • Active management of local agents and sales development

  • Manage the relationship with travel agents to maximize account opportunities

  • Make sure local agents understand Evaneos business model and adopt Evaneos platform (identify gaps and train the agents)

  • Coach agents in their B2C sales and the use of the Evaneos toolbox

  • Monitor travel agent's performance (response rate, sales rate, turnover, percentage of platform usage) and adapt coaching accordingly

  • Actively manage the volume of quotes sent to local agents while taking into consideration their constraints and performance

  • Participate in Evaneos events such as “Evaneos Academy”

Transversal projects

  • Identify opportunities to improve tools and services developed for our local agents

  • Work in collaboration with Marketing and IT departments

  • Work in collaboration with other Evaneos markets

Preferred Experience

The Area Manager should come from a commerce or sales background, ideally with a degree in business or tourism. Experience in online commerce is highly appreciated.

To be considered for this role, you must be completely fluent in the language of the market you are applying for ( German &/or Dutch ), and have a strong level of English. Knowledge of a CRM, such as Salesforce, is preferable.

The Area Manager should be passionate about travel, open-minded, sales-oriented, pragmatic, analytical, and results-oriented.
