Uber connects customers with professional drivers. Airbnb connects travellers with property owners. Evaneos connects travellers with local travel agencies!

What you will do

The ideal candidate will accompany the growth on the English speaking markets and actively participate in establishing Evaneos as the worldwide category leader. They will be supervised by the International VP and in direct collaboration with Marketing, Production and IT departments.

Together with their teams, the Country Manager USA - Canada is responsible for the English speaking markets (USA-CA) and the corresponding community of travel agencies. 2 main missions need to be fulfilled: 

  • Marketing / Business Development : Maximizing demand, i.e. qualified traffic on  
  • Production: Optimising the online offer and the sales of our partners. This includes identifying, selecting, recruiting, animating and developing the sales of our network of partners (travel agencies).

Your job
1- P&L responsibility & Market ownership - Follow your market(s) in terms of offer (destinations, products, local agencies) and demand (traveller’s demand) - P&L responsibility for the differents markets
2 – Generate qualified traffic through all possible marketing channels - Optimise natural indexing (SEO) - Creation and management of online marketing campaigns (SEA: Google AdWords, …) - Set up affiliations and partnerships with any website generating qualified leads - Optimize ROI through all channels 
3 – Identifying new partners and online offer management - Identifying and selecting new travel agencies meeting our strict selection criteria - Design and adjust the online offer (in association with our partners) - Build a consistent and segmented offer - In charge of the wording and ‘look & feel’ of the website  
4 – Active management and development of sales in your portfolio - Make sure local agents understand Evaneos Travel’s business model and adopt Evaneos Travel’s platform - Travellers’ helpdesk and customer testimonials management - Coach agents in their B2C sales thanks to Evaneos Travel’s toolbox and content - Follow performances of travel agents (response rate, sales rate, turnover, percentage of platform usage) and adapt coaching accordingly - Actively manage the volume of quotes sent to local agents taking into consideration their constraints and performances  
5 – Cross-department projects - Identify opportunities to improve tools and services developed for our partners - Work in collaboration with Marketing and IT departments - Work in collaboration with other Evaneos markets (,,,  -  Competitive intelligence  -  Activity reports Selection 

What we are looking for

  • MUST HAVE 1 : English NATIVE SPEAKER (with 10+ years in USA/Canada) 
  • MUST HAVE 2 : online acquisition experience
  • MUST HAVE 3 : management experience
  • Fluency in French is a real bonus
  • Minimum 5 years of experience
  • First successful experience in the online travel industry and/or online business development  
  • Ideally an existing network in online travel 
  • Entrepreneurship / Team spirit (will do what it takes to get the job done) 
  • Autonomy, ability to take initiative - Creativity 
  • Proactivity 
  • Good sales capabilities 
  • Powerful analytical and synthesising skills, organised and very rigorous. 
  • Getting the big picture while paying attention to the details
