The local agency you will be working with Namibia

Lark journeys is an owner managed Namibian safari specialist based in Windhoek, Namibia. We organize intrepid journeys across Namibia and southern Africa. We specialize in designing personalized, unique journeys to Namibia. Whether clients are interested in small group tours with excellent private guides or designing their own unique self-drive or fly in itinerary, we can assist from the initial planning stage until the end of their journey.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Italian-speaking travel consultant to join our team in Namibia. You will be in charge of direct sales with Evaneos customers. You will be the person who receives inquiries through the Evaneos platform and the main contact for Italian travelers. As the contract will be with the local agency, the job could contain any or more of the following duties:

  • Understand travelers expectations

  • Main contact for clients to determine travel needs, budgets, and preferences: tailor-made itineraries

  • Match travelers' requirements with transportation, accommodations, insurance, tours, and activities.

  • Advises clients regarding destinations, cultures, customs, weather, and activities

  • Responsible for billing the travelers

  • Handles travel issues, conflicts, complaints, cancellations, and refunds

  • Builds and maintains relationships with travel and tour operators

  • Booking management: reservation with hotels and other services

  • Quality monitoring during the trip

Additional information

Duration & contract type: Part time or Full Time

Precise location: Windhoek, Namibia (or Remote if you know the country already)

Availability (Starting dates): As soon as possible (flexible)

Salary: To be discussed according to the level of experience

Preferred Experience

Languages required:

  • Italian: native or bilingual

  • English : to be able to speak with your colleagues and the local providers we are working with

Ideal profile:

  • Knowledge of Namibia, or previous travel experience in Namibia required

  • Previous experience in tourism would be beneficial

  • Previous experience in sales is a big plus

  • The ability to plan, execute, and work independently

  • Tech-savvy with excellent computer skills and access to own computer

  • Detail orientated individual committed to precision planning of adventures
